World Investors Set Sights on GBA Properties
The region needs to enhance both hard and soft infrastructural connectivity further to make investment properties more accessible.

With the renewed spread of COVID-19 in Hong Kong, increased risk of exposure to the virus and mandatory testing and quarantine, companies are having to consider what measures they take to protect staff and ensure business continuity. As this information is not widely circulated in our industry, ULI Hong Kong conducted an anonymous survey for members to share current practice and inform each other. Key takeaways were:
We also found that arrangements are overwhelmingly decided by local leadership, and measures are unevenly distributed among respondents, with no statistical trend for workplaces taking up multiple measures.
Respondents’ comments ranged from requests for greater monitoring and better air filtration from landlords, and more social distancing and introducing requirements for workers and visitors to be vaccinated, to concerns over blanket quarantine for colleagues and families, and suggestions that we should abolish mask-wearing and learn to live with Covid.
