Join ULI YLG on a discussion about one of Hong Kong’s groundbreaking residential developments - Fairview Park near the Mai Po Wetland Reserve in New Territories.

Completed in the 1980’s, Fairview Park is the largest low-density private estate in Hong Kong, with 5,000 houses covering over 5 million sqft GFA. It is renowned for first introducing Western-style, suburban house-living concept to Hong Kong’s middle-class, and features one of the largest man-made private lakes in the city.

Join this personal conversation between Douglas Wu, who leads the family developer of Fairview Park, and Roger Nissim, esteemed HK real estate practitioner who recently wrote the book ‘The First Estates’ about Fairview Park. The discussion will cover its development history, recent renovation transformation, as well as reflections on suburban living amongst Covid-19 and future growth of New Territories.
